    Winters, Marie A., 81, December 19, 2013.  Calling hours will be Thursday, December 26 at 10 a.m. at the Hoover Funeral Home, Harrisburg, followed by funeral services at 11 a.m.  Interment will be at the Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville.  Arrangements by Hoover Funeral Homes and Crematory, Inc., Harrisburg.

    HARRISBURG, PA – Marie “Nannie Rie” (Bailey) Winters, 81, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Thursday December 19, 2013, at the Jewish Home of Greater Harrisburg.
    Mrs. Winters was born in Monticello, Maine, and was a 1952 graduate of Ricker College of Houlton, Maine. She was a member of the East Shore Baptist Church of Harrisburg, PA.
    Preceding her in death were her parents, Aubrey A. Bailey, Sr. and Minnie I. (Wasson) Bailey; her brother, Aubrey A. Bailey, Jr.; and her husband, Dale L. Winters.
    Mrs. Winters is survived by her siblings, Marjorie Bailey Rush, James Bailey, Janice Bailey Sewell, Larry Bailey, and Brenda Bailey Beale. She is also survived by her children, Sandra Schmidt and her husband, Lee, Marilyn Heim and her husband, Gary, Stephen Winters and his wife, Wendy, and Linda Miller and her husband, J. Michael. Also surviving her are fourteen grandchildren, Colby and Katrina; Jennifer, Christie, Meredith, and Nathan; Zachary, Seth, Daniel, Rachel, and Micah; and Heidi, Holly, and Harrison. She is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren. Marie always brought joy and happiness to those around her and she will be sorely missed.
    A special thank-you to the Jewish Home and Grane Hospice for the wonderful care they provided.
    Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 26, 2013, at 11 a.m. at the Hoover Funeral Homes & Crematory, Inc., 6011 Linglestown Rd., Harrisburg. Burial will be in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville.
    A visitation will be held on Thursday, from 10-11 a.m., at the funeral home, prior to the service.
