Elks Hoop Shoot
The Caribou Parks and Recreation Department will host the annual Elks Hoop Shoot on Saturday, Dec. 28 at the Caribou Wellness and Recreation Center.
This free throw competition is open to boys and girls ages 8-13 (age as of April 1, 2014).
Warm-ups are at 9:30 a.m. with the competition starting at 10 a.m. There is no fee for this event, but pre-registration is required.

Ladies’ pick-up basketball
On Sunday evenings from 6-8 p.m., a ladies’ basketball program is being offered at the Caribou Wellness and Recreation Center. The fee is $3 for each participant. For more information, call 493-4224.
Game tickets on sale
Tickets for the Caribou Vikings vs. Presque Isle Wildcats boys’ basketball game on Jan. 8, 2014 at Presque Isle High School are now on sale at the Caribou High School athletic office.
Tickets are $4 for adults and $2 for students.
Youth ski rental program
The youth ski rental program is back and open for all Caribou youth. Seasonal rentals include skis, boots, poles and a carrier for a fee of $60 plus a $20 refundable deposit.
