In their only home meet of the season, the Caribou matmen defeated all three opponents Saturday afternoon.
The Vikings rolled to a 54-6 victory over George Stevens Academy of Blue Hill. In contested matches, Rebecca King pinned GSA’s Liza Moore in the 126-pound division and Matt Manter won by fall over Alex Overlock in 195. The Vikes won seven matches by forfeit.
In a 48-18 triumph over Mattanawcook Academy of Lincoln, Axios Gerakaris pinned Ike Birtz in their 152 bout, while Manter scored a pin over Allen Dorn and Colton Conley did the same against Pat Eastman.
Against Penobscot Valley of Howland, the Vikes prevailed, 36-16.
Kyle Morris won by fall over Chris Saucier in the 120 division, while Conley pinned Justin Ringuette.
Noah Cousins was pinned by his opponent and King lost a major decision.
At PVHS last Tuesday, Caribou beat the hosts, 42-28, and Mattanawcook, 46-24.
