    HOULTON – Winona Louisa Schools, 74, died December 3, 2013, at her home, with her family by her side. She was born March 28, 1939, in Houlton, the daughter of James and Roxie (Sewall) McAfee.
    She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Kenneth Schools of Houlton; her six children, Lori Nichols and her husband, John of Houlton, Kenneth Schools and his wife, Cindy of Littleton, Diane Briggs and her husband, Robert of Linneus, Ronald Schools and his wife, Patti of Cary, Philip Schools of Houlton, Randolph Schools and his wife, Lorie of Littleton; 15 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Dana and Betty McAfee of Littleton, Judy and David McAfee of Augusta, Kenneth McAfee and Darlene Qualey of Littleton, Judy and Harold Fitzpatrick of Littleton and Laura Snell of Houlton. She was predeceased by her parents; brothers, Clarence, Phillip, Orin, John, Albert, Donald; and a sister, Phyllis.
    Friends called 10-11 a.m.  on Friday, December 6 at Military Street Baptist Church, where funeral services were held 11 a.m. with Rev. Randall Burns, Rev.
