The Stitchin’ an’ a Givin’ quilting group in Washburn create and donate over 100 memory quilts a year to hospice patients through The County.
The group is now out of funds to purchase the materials needed to make these wonderful quilts. To raise some funds they are raffling off a quilt. The quilt is on display at the bank in Washburn where the Katahdin employees are also helping to sell tickets. Most of the quilting group are also selling tickets.
The quilt will be raffled just before Christmas, and this beautiful quilt would make somebody a very nice Christmas gift.
