WASHBURN – Melvin “Buzzy” Thompson, 72, died November 18, 2013, at Caribou. He was born in Hartland, August 26, 1941, the son of the late Ralph and Lorraine (Wright) Thompson.
He is survived by four brothers, Warren Thompson and wife, Mildred, of Wellington, Malcolm Thompson and wife, Joyce, of Massachusetts, Clifford Thompson of Germany, and Merle Thompson of North Carolina; four sisters, Rita White of St. David, Patricia Lefever and husband, Norman of New York, Constance Campbell of Florida, and Betty Michaud and husband, Donald of Caribou; several nieces and nephews.
Friends called at the Mockler Funeral Home, 24 Reservoir Street, Caribou from 6-8 p.m. Thursday. Funeral services were held 1 p.m. Friday, November 22, 2013, from the chapel of the Mockler Funeral Home with Rev. Matt Carpenter officiating.
