PORTAGE LAKE & PRESQUE ISLE – Franklin Paul Taylor, 57, passed away unexpectedly on November 23, 2013, in Ashland. He was born on December 19, 1955, the son of Merindy (Day) and Wilford Taylor. He was the beloved brother of Nancy Perkins and her husband, Roderick of Presque Isle, Velma Kinsley and her husband, Lawrence of Belfast; and Stephen Hull of Florida. He was predeceased by his special niece, Merindy (Gagnon) Corriveau, as well as several other nieces and a nephew.
Frank resided with Bonnie and Brian Condon in Portage Lake for the last 14 and 1/2 years; they were loving caregivers who gave him much joy and love, and he spent the happiest days of his life with them. He attended Day Program at Northern General in Eagle Lake. Frank was a member of the Portage Lake ATV Club. He loved spending time at camp, riding in the boat, and sitting out on the deck. His favorite place to eat was at Dean’s Motor Lodge in Ashland. Frank was a sweet soul, and he will be greatly missed.
