AYBL grades 3-4 basketball offered
The Aroostook Youth Basketball League will hold its first practices for Presque Isle-area grades 3-4 teams next week.    The boys’ practice will take place Monday, Dec. 2 from 6-7:30 p.m. and the girls will meet Thursday, Dec. 5 from 5:30-7 p.m. Both are held at Mapleton Elementary School. All local players interested in competing this winter are urged to attend.
The season is 10 weeks in length with one or two 1-1/2 hour practices held per week. After the team is formed and following several practice sessions, approximately 10 games will be scheduled against other communities in The County.

Basketball fundraiser
The Presque Isle High School Destination Imagination team is holding a staff/alumni vs. Presque Isle Wildcats basketball game Monday, Dec. 2 at 7 p.m.
The game will be played at Presque Isle High School and the admission fee is $3 per person. Funds raised will go toward PIHS Destination Imagination.
Season tickets on sale for SAD 1 athletics
The Presque Isle High School athletic department is currently selling season tickets for basketball and hockey. They can be purchased at the athletic office during school hours. Call 764-6507 for more information.
