Guerrette to compete in Miss American Teen Pageant

MAPLETON, Maine — Hannah Guerrette, 17, daughter of Gary Guerrette and Carl and Kim Guerrette Michaud of Mapleton, has been selected to represent Maine at the 2013 Miss American Teen Pageant.    As Miss Maine Teen Coed, Guerrette will be attending the 30th annual national pageant, sponsored by American Coed Pageants, in Walt Disney World during the week of Thanksgiving. She will be competing for the title of Miss American Teen Coed. She also will be competing in the speech, modeling and photogenic categories.
Since 1983, millions of dollars in cash awards, prizes and scholarships have been presented to outstanding girls and young women at the state and national competitions. American Coed Pageants annually hold state pageants for the purpose of recognizing and rewarding outstanding young women for the past and present accomplishments and to encourage them to set and achieve high goals for the future.
