PRESQUE ISLE, Maine — Join the Presque Isle Historical Society for its third annual “Haunted Lantern Tour” to be held Friday, Oct. 25 and again on Saturday, Oct. 26 from 7-8 p.m.
The tour will begin both nights at the Historic Fire Station on 11 Church Street, last approximately one hour and cover about one mile.
Ghostly tour guides will lead tour-goers through the historic jail and to 12 sites around historic Presque Isle, where re-enactors will regale participants with true but slightly scary (and kinda’ creepy) tales about events, places and people from Presque Isle’s past from ghosts to murders to just weird mysteries to death by hanging or fire.
