Cornerstone announces golf tournament winners

The Cornerstone Classic Golf Tournament was held Sept. 14 at Presque Isle Country Club, with the team of Tim Gagnon, Adam Robertson and Jenna Hallett taking first place for low gross with a 64 and the team of Bud Fancy, Seth Fancy and Phil Halvorson  low net with a 59.    The second-place low gross team, with a 65, consisted of Rick Collins, Ryan Umphrey and Jon Humphrey. In third was the trio of Ron McAtee, Gary Nadeau and Eric Brown, who came in with a 72.
For net, the runners-up were George McLaughlin, Dan Boyd and Anthony Fabian, who carded a 60. In third was the team of Dominic Bua, Jesse Harris and Greg Whitaker with a 62.
Four closest to the pin prizes were also awarded. Hallett was first twice, at hole No. 4 and No. 17; Al Irving at No. 8 and Halvorson at No. 16. Ron McAtee had the longest drive.
