The course includes discussion of collision avoidance techniques, safety issues, driver habits and attitudes, and the basic elements that constantly challenge drivers on Maine’s highways.

Sponsored by the Maine Bureau of Highway Safety, in partnership with local and regional adult education organizations, the course is held several times a month at various locations around the state.
The class will be held Saturday beginning at 8 a.m. at the Ashland District School. The cost of the class is $40 per participant, which includes a $5 registration fee and all course materials.
