Patten, Sharon A., 68, October 6, 2013. A mass of Christian burial will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, October 11, 2013 at Parish of the Precious Blood, St. Louis Catholic Church in Limestone. LIMESTONE – Sharon A. Patten, 68, passed away Sunday, October 6, 2013, at Eastern Maine Medical Center after a brief illness. Sharon was born in Limestone on December 7, 1944, the daughter of Levi (Steve) and Thelma (Temple) Cote.
Sharon was a former business owner in the town of Limestone, retired from DFAS in 2007, and most recently employed at Save-A-Lot in Caribou. She enjoyed traveling, gardening, but most of all spending time with her family. She will be greatly missed.
Sharon is survived by her children and their spouses, Hollie and Daniel Kurpaska of Sunderland, MA, Tracie and Scott Helstrom of Limestone, Shawn Patten and his M Paula Leblanc of Limestone, Trevor and Amy Patten of Omaha, NE; her brother and his wife, Peter and Beverly Cote of Fort Kent; her grandchildren, Caitlin Good, Melinda Patten, Brittany Kurpaska, Mallory Patten, Mason Patten, Jordan Patten, Braden Patten, Ashton Klumper and Sheldon Klumper. She will also be missed by many nieces andnephews; and her cats, Digger, Bobby and Doodles.
In addition to her parents, Sharon was predeceased by her husband, David G. Patten.
