Brittany Jacqueline Bearden of Presque Isle was crowned Miss Maine U.S. International 2014 at a pageant held at Bright Star World Dance in Portland Sept. 22. The 22-year-old is a former Miss Maine Collegiate and will represent Maine at next year’s Miss U.S. International Pageant in Orlando, Fla. June 23-29, 2014. This is a qualifier to the 54th Miss International Beauty Pageant, the third-largest beauty pageant in the world with over 80 countries participating. Bearden is a recent graduate of the University of Maine at Presque Isle with a bachelor of science in athletic training. She is the daughter of Monica and Jeff Bearden.
