This weekend at Houlton Community Park will be a fall Soap Box Derby race.
Aimee’s Race will consist of two days of racing — double on Saturday and a single race on Sunday — and three categories of racing: Masters, Super Stock and Stock.
Registration on Saturday will be held at 10 a.m., weigh-in at 11 a.m., with the races beginning at 12 p.m. Another heat of races will be held at 7 p.m. under the lights on Derby Hill, as well.
On Sunday, registration and weigh-in will be held from 7-8 a.m. with races starting at 8 a.m.
Proceeds from Aimee’s Race will go to support the local Soap Box Derby race in June. Entry fee is $30 per race or $100 for the weekend.
