On Sept. 18, the Happy Losers group held its weekly meeting at the Congregational Church vestry in Island Falls. The leader opened the meeting with the pledge and roll call.
Nine weighed-in and seven attended the class. Loretta Bouchard was the loser for the week and also Brenda Raymond. Ann Morse was runner-up. Great job ladies!
The secretary and treasurer gave reports for the week. The leader led the program for the week. Her topic was on an article called “Restaurant Sugar.” The meeting was informative and interesting.
