Oakfield Senior Citizens met at the Oakfield Snowmobile Club with 19 members present on Wednesday, Sept. 4. The next meeting will be Wednesday, Sept. 18. A light lunch of all kinds of sandwiches and desserts were served, which everyone enjoyed. After lunch, the Lord’s Prayer and flag salute was led by Bob Locke. Songs dating back to the 1920’s were sung by the group.
Attending were Tessie Barrett, Kathleen Bowlitte, David Burpee, Thelma Flowers, Bernice Campbell Alma Clark, Jeanne Clements, Gladys Corneil, Arlene Friel, Marie Gillotti, Sandra Holmes, Mary Lawler, Bob and Delores Locke, Charlotte Marley, Don Marley, Doreen Messina, Larry and Peggie Sanderson, Wannetta Townsend, George Barrows, Nanci Fowler, Sharon Anderson, and Gloria Noyes. The 50/50 was won by Jeannie Clements.
