Jean Donahue Newcomb of Steep Falls, Maine, was in the Houlton area Aug. 19 to 25. She was a guest of Ellery and Joanne Donahue of Littleton.
While here she had the pleasure of lunch with Mary Bennett and they spent an afternoon visiting with Doris Ingraham of Hammond, where they spent a lovely afternoon reminiscing of days growing up on “B” and catching up on their lives now. She also visited with Loretta Donahue of Ludlow and Richard Donahue and family of Ludlow.
Jean would like to thank everyone for such an enjoyable visit and a special thanks to Megan of Modern Beauty Salon for fitting (an old lady) in on short notice for a lovely perm. On the trip home Jean visited with Theresa Carpenter Briggs who was a patient at Eastern Maine Hospital in Bangor.
