Harry’s: Where work and fun begins!
Outdoor fun begins at Harry’s Motorsports, at 640 Main St. in Presque Isle.
Owned by John and Debbie Alexander, the business sells and services a wide range of both work and leisure equipment.
“We sell and service Honda motorcycles, ATVs — big red side-by-sides — and all Honda power equipment. We also offer Kawasaki motorcycles, ATVs and side-by-sides; and Arctic Cat ATVs, side-by-sides and snowmobiles,” said John Alexander. “We also recently added Kymco side-by-sides, ATVs and scooters.”
For yard work, check out Harry’s tractors.
“We sell Kubota tractors, mowers, side-by-sides and accessories,” said Alexander.
“I’ve owned Harry’s Motorsports for nine years — been in retail in Presque Isle for 31 years,” he said, noting there are eight full-time employees. “As the owner, I’m in the store every day, working to meet customers’ needs, be it a recreational vehicle or equipment for maintaining your property.”
“Our secret to staying in business is providing exceptional customer service,” said Alexander.
Customers find variety at Harry’s.
“One big advantage over the competition is our variety. With over $3 million in inventory, we can find most customers the right product for their needs. I stress to all our employees ‘treat the customer the way you want to be treated.’ If you do, that customer will be back,” said Alexander.
Alexander calls Kubota “a great addition to our product line.”
“We currently have about a 40 percent market share in Aroostook County. As sales keep increasing, I fully expect that percentage to keep rising. Kubota is known for having very high-quality products. Kubota is the largest diesel engine manufacturer in the world,” said Alexander, adding, “when you’re shopping many other brands’ equipment, if they have diesel engines, a lot of them are Kubotas, so why not buy straight from the source?”
Alexander said Kubota is “very aggressive with financing.”
“We offer great deals on most all Kubota products. Come shop Harry’s Motorsports, where your work and fun begins!” he said.
Alexander recently constructed a 5,000 square-foot storage building “to keep products under cover in the winter months,” ensuring customers get pristine equipment year-round.
