A memorable visit to Aroostook County
To the editor:
My husband and I recently spent a week in the Fort Fairfield and Presque Isle area and this letter is to tell your residents how much we enjoyed ourselves. Every interaction we had was pleasant and each person we met was cordial and helpful.
We came to Maine to attend the County Bluegrass Family Bluegrass Music Festival held July 25 – 28. It was a wonderful event. Nancy and Stev Rogeski were the ultimate hosts: they planned and delivered every service that made the experience special. And, the bluegrass music was first-class and the facility is the best we have ever seen.
We also want to thank the Fort Fairfield IGA grocery which made a giant fruit salad for us and created a fine birthday cake. Thanks, Jeff, for everything. Thanks, too, to the “A Hair Above” shop where I got my hair cut. A super job. And, Governors! Wow!
As you can see, we had several reasons to interact with residents. We can’t say enough positive things.
We are planning to return to enjoy another visit to Maine/Aroostook County and the Bluegrass Festival in particular. Thanks, Nancy and Stev for making this all happen for us.
