CARIBOU — The finals of the Northern Maine Community Recreation Association 10-12 year-old baseball tournament was held at the Caribou Little League fields July 31, with Presque Isle beating Mars Hill, 12-2.
Mars Hill had reached the finals by topping Caribou, 5-4. Jacob Ouellette and Austin Findlen did the pitching for Caribou.
Benoit Levesque had three hits and Sebastian Marquis had two for Caribou.
Mapleton and Caribou squared off in the lone quarterfinal game, with Caribou coming up with a 15-5 win behind three hits apiece by Jacob Soucy, Cullin Caverhill, Jacob Ouellette and Hayden Hunter.
