Science camp at UMPI Aug. 5-9
PRESQUE ISLE — The University of Maine at Presque Isle will offer a Science Boot Camp, “Team Discover,” for students in grades 3-5, on Aug. 5-9 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., in Folsom 105.
Designed to explore the world of science, the camp is fast-paced and engages in hands-on learning, experiments, critical thinking, and learning in a stimulating and creative environment.
Class topics include DNA AND biology, ecology, astronomy, rocks AND minerals, chemistry, food experiments, and physics.
