ARTIST PASCO GROVE, of Searsport, demonstrated his amazing artistic abilities using a chainsaw at the recent Maple Meadow Farm Fest in Mapleton. Grove has been creating carved works of art from wood for 15 years. He is self-taught and attributes his knowledge and ability from spending time with his father who is a woodcutter. Grove, who prefers to work with cedar, estimated that he spent nearly four hours working on this piece, which is a replica of the horse-drawn wagon that could be seen during the weekend festival.
