Local students earn Husson degrees

    The following area students received diplomas from Husson University on Saturday, May 11, in Bangor, or Saturday, May 18, in Portland, the 106th commencements of Husson University. Husson awarded a total of 760 degrees with students participating from 200 Maine towns, 19 states and eight countries, earning associate, bachelor, master’s and doctoral degrees from Husson’s Colleges of Business, Health & Education, Science and Humanities and our first class of doctoral students in the School of Pharmacy.

  Those earning degrees include: Ashland — Kevin F. Baker, Jr., Doctor of Pharmacy; Blaine — Shelby J. Stiles, M.S. in nursing; Crouseville — Charly-Rae Chandler, A.S. accounting/B.S. business administration; Easton — Francis P. Diandrea III, B.S. computer information systems, cum laude; and Daniel J. Menard, master of business administration; Fort Fairfield — Paul J. Guiou, Doctor of Pharmacy, summa cum laude; Rachel J. Worcester, Doctor of Physical Therapy; Amanda J. McLaughlin, master of business administration; and Jacqueline M. Martin, M.S. in school counseling; Mapleton — Nicholas E. Gimbel, B.S. in criminal justice/psychology; Nathan J. Berry, master of business administration; and Johna L. Lovely, M.S. in clinical mental health counseling; Mars Hill — Wendy Riopelle, master in business administration; Portage — James A. Holmes, B.S. in accounting, magna cum laude; and Washburn — Alexandra T. Schaller, Doctor of Pharmacy, magna cum laude.
