Historical Society plans picnic

    The Salmon Brook Historical Society will hold their next meeting on Thursday, July 18, at 6 p.m. at the Thomas Brewer Park in Washburn.

A picnic will be followed by a business meeting. Please bring your choice of meat for the grill, a salad or dessert and a place setting. See you there.

Pancake Breakfast

    The Caribou Historical Society is hosting a Pancake Breakfast from 7-9 a.m. on Saturday, July 20, at their Learning Center & Museum, 1033 Presque Isle Rd.
    The menu will consist of pancakes, eggs, sausage, hash browns, beans, coffee and juice. Donation of $6 per person is requested.
    Children under 12 are half price. All are welcome.

Birthdays/anniversaries

    Those celebrating a birthday between July 10-16 include:  Mary Easler, Kayla Brewer, Augustine Viola, Skip Bennett, Sylvia Paradis, George Howard, Don Peary, Charles Durost, Daren Churchill, Laina Mette, Robbie Irving, Neil Baker Sr., Leon Howe and Derek Baker.
    Those celebrating an anniversary between July 10-16 include: Kermit and Sue Fuller, Max and April Curtis, and Clayton and Lavina Corey.
