AROOSTOOK COUNTY REPUBLICAN Committee Chair Geri Martin, left, and ACRC secretary Gloria Duncan are busy working on the final touches of a fund-raiser for ACRC. The Governor John Reed Memorial Dinner will be held starting at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, July 18 at the Fort Fairfield Fish and Game Club. Tickets are $25 each and can be purchased at the Bookmart located at 252 Main St. in Fort Fairfield. Reed, the only governor from The County, died Oct. 31, 2012 at a Washington, D.C. hospital following a brief illness. He was 91.
