    PRESQUE ISLE – Samuel L. Murphy, 53, died Tuesday, June 25, 2013, at the Aroostook Medical Center in Presque Isle. He was born on April 6, 1960, in Dexter, New Mexico, the son of Stanley and Goldie (Dyer) Murphy. He worked as a chef in Bar Harbor.
    Samuel is survived by a son, Samuel A. Murphy of Madawaska; two daughters, Jessica Kjellberg of Daytona Beach, FL, and Samantha Murphy of Presque Isle; a brother, Eric Murphy of Presque Isle; four sisters, Carla Murphy of Wilkes-Barre, PA, Glenda Amore of Jim Thorpe, PA, Barbara Garcia and Shauna Robbins, both of Presque Isle; and a grandchild, Julian Kjellberg. He was predeceased by his parents and a brother, Stephen Murphy.
    A graveside service was held Friday, June 28, 2013, at Fairmount Cemetery, Presque Isle, with Ronald LaPointe officiating. Online condolences may be expressed at www.duncan-graves.com.
