    Bradley, Ida, 96, July 4, 2013.  Services will be held today at the Military Street Baptist Church at 11 a.m.  Interment to be held in the Linneus Cemetery.  Arrangements by Dunn Funeral Home, Houlton.

PT Ida Bradley    HOULTON – Ida Bradley, 96, died peacefully July 4, 2013, at her daughter’s residence. She was born November 7, 1916, at Woodstock, NB, Canada, the daughter of Jeffrey and Alice (Flemming) Powers.
    Ida worked at numerous places around the Houlton area and was best known at J.J Newberry Department Store, Tingley’s Bakery, Reed’s Confection and the many hours volunteering at Houlton Regional Hospital. Her family was her greatest love, especially her grand, great-grand and great-great-grandchildren and the light of her life, Ethan.
    She is survived by three daughters, Peggy Benn of Weston, Joyce MacDonald and her fiancé, Gene McCluskey, of Houlton, and Alice Luhrs and her husband, Robert, of Hammond; brother-in-law, Eugene Saywer of Presque Isle; sister-in-law, Mary Hunt of Dexter; 17 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, six great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; two special friends, Patrice Lunney and Mildred Reece; stepchildren, Maynard Bradley and his wife, Nancy, of Canaan, Ricarda Stairs of Canada, and Paul Sabattis of Anchorage, Alaska. She was predeceased by her husband Don Bradley; infant son, Merle Sawyer; son, Forest (Red) Sawyer; brother, George Powers; and step-son Allen Bradley.
    Friends called 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Dunn Funeral Home. Services will be held at the Houlton Military Street Baptist Church 11 a.m. Wed. with Rev. Randall Burns officiating. Interment will be in the Linneus Cemetery.
