    8:30 – 6:30 – Annual Potato Blossom Invitational  Basketball Tournament – see info above.
    8:30 a.m. – Chess Tournament, registration required. Tournament starts at 9 a.m. located in the bandstand on Main St. Sponsored by Maine Public Service.   
    Canterbury Royale’s Lobster and Clam Bake offered today, tomorrow, the 19th and 20th. Reservations required. Two seatings per night at 4 and 6:30 p.m. $43.50 person.
    6 p.m. – Donna Nelson and Friends Variety Show- Entertainment at the bandstand on Main St.    7 p.m. The Pre-Teen and Teen Miss Pageant – Located at the Fort Fairfield Middle/High School Gym. $8 admission. Sponsored by Northeast Packaging Inc.

Sunday, July 14

    4 p.m. The Kinney Family Trio – Bluegrass Gospel music in the Community Bandstand on Main Street.

    Coloring Contest – Forms can be picked up at the County Federal Credit Union in Fort Fairfield. Judging will take place at 10 a.m. on Friday, July 19.
    1 and 3 p.m. Scales and Tales at the Fort Fairfield Public Library. Program introduces live reptiles and compares their adaptations for survival. Seating is limited. Register by calling 472-3880.
    7 p.m. Roger Lilly and The Honky Tonks – in the Bandstand. Sponsored by Allen’s Coffee Flavored Brandy.
    7 p.m. The Little Miss Potato Blossom Pageant – located at the Fort Fairfield Middle/High School gym. $8 admission. Sponsored by Northeast Packaging Inc.

    1 p.m. Spuddy Recovery Triathlon. Just as the parade starts, TAMC and Acadia Medical Supply will host a unique County Triathlon consisting of Walker, Wheel Chair, Crutches and of course, potatoes. Only 16 slots available. FMI and to compete go to tamc.org.
