Easton Elementary play a big success

This year’s annual Easton Elementary School play titled “All’s Well That Ends Swell” was yet another success. Everyone did a tremendous job and nobody forgot a line. We have a lot of talent in our little school here in Easton.

The play was directed by Debbie Rooney and she did a wonderful job with the students. Julie McDowell was in charge of the music and did a good job also. In addition, Thresa Bonner did the choreography.
Congratulations to you all for entertaining us with another play.
To Locks of Love

Kaeleigh Swanson, of Easton, at left, holds up the hair that she donated to Locks of Love. Her hairdresser was very surprised that Kaeleigh was able to donate her hair two different times in 13 months for a total of 20 inches cut.
Club plans mini tournament
Easton’s Varsity Club is going to host a mini basketball tournament this summer. The date for this event is June 28-29. The 29th is depending on participation. It will be from 5-8 p.m. at the outdoor basketball court near the elementary school, weather permitting. The cost is $5 per person and it will be teams of three. You can bring your own team. The ages for the tournament are 14 and up.
Pre-registration ends on June 21 and is required is needed. Call Leslie Carlow at 488-5991 or 227-0948 to register or for more information.
