CARR, Joan “Phyllis”, 78, ASHLAND, at Eagle Lake, June 10, 2013. Services will be held at Ashland Advent Christian Church, Thursday, June 13, 2013, at 11 a.m. Arrangements are in the care of Stimson-Ouellette Funeral Home, Ashland.

     ASHLAND – Joan “Phyllis” Carr, 78, went to be with the Lord in the early morning hours of Monday, June 10, 2013, at Mercy Home, Eagle Lake after a difficult battle with breast cancer. Phyllis was born April 18, 1935, to Julius and Hazel Moreau in Old Town, ME, and moved to Ashland years later with her husband and young children.
    Phyllis was predeceased by her parents; husband, Milton “Bobby” Carr; and son, Richard Moreau. She is survived by sons, Frederick Carr, George Carr and wife, Lorraine of Ashland; daughter, Carrie Bell and husband, Dave of Caribou; son, Robert Wirth and wife; and daughter Donna Lally. Phyllis was a very special Nana to her grandchildren, Megan Bechard; Keith Tingley III, Courtney Carr, Shawna Carr, Katie Jones, Tina Cowett and husband, Alan, and several great-grandchildren.
    Services will be held at Ashland Advent Christian Church, Thursday, June 13, 2013, at 11 a.m. A celebration of Phyllis’ life immediately following.
