CARIBOU – George McGraw 72, died unexpectedly May 21, 2013, at Caribou. He was born in Caribou on November 9, 1940, the son of the late Stephen McGraw and Hazel Drost McGraw Patten.
He is survived by six sisters, Elizabeth Ryan of Michigan, Gloria Woolfenden and her husband, Robert, of Virginia, Shirley Thompson of Caribou, Edna Delease and her husband, Ron, of Florida, Mary Spelman and her husband, Peter, of Connecticut, and Erma Reynolds of Bangor; four brothers, Bill Turner and his wife, Jeanette, of Florida, Donald McGraw and his wife, Mary, of Pennsylvania, Irvine Patten Jr. and his wife, Mary Ann, of Connecticut and Charles Patten Sr. and wife Debbie of Virginia; several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by brothers, Gordon, Chester, and Henry McGraw and a sister Lettie Moody.
George enjoyed family gatherings, fishing and hunting. He will be sadly missed by his many friends at Caribou Gardens.
Private family services will be held at a late date. Arrangements by the Mockler Funeral Home Caribou.
