Having experienced unimaginable pain, broken hearts, financial ruin and imprisonment, Dick and Donna Walls were called to begin “Broken Vessel Ministsries.”
Dick was wrongfully convicted of a crime, as his life-long career was destroyed. He went to prison 2,200 miles from home on a crime he didn’t commit. Donna lay in a hospital clinging to life with only a 50/50 chance of survival.
The Walls hung on to their faith in God through it all.
Dick Walls will be at the Houlton United Methodist Church at 57 Military St., Houlton on Sunday, June 2 at 10 a.m. Donna, who has passed away, will be featured on a DVD at 3 p.m.
On Donna’s DVD presentation, those in attendance will meet BJ, a bear who lived in Bearville. His story is about how our words and actions can hurt and wound hearts. Donna and BJ will share what God’s word says about broken hearts and wounded spirits. BJ shares how God healed his hurt and helped him to treat others better.
“Broken Vessel Ministries” is designed to help the broken hearted who need healing and a renewed assurance that God does care. For more information, call 532-3332.
