PT Gerald McCluskey    Gerald “Jerry” or “Judd” Arthur McCluskey of West Haven, CT passed away quietly at his home on Friday, October 5, 2012.
    Jerry is survived by his loving wife, Linda Lee (Jacob) McCluskey; his three children, Angela D. McCluskey (Warren Drury) of Ft. Myers, FL, Robert G. McCluskey of Milford, Roger A. (Margaret) McCluskey of San Antonio, TX; and four precious grandchildren. Jerry was born to the late Harold Enrique McCluskey and Dorothy K. (McMakin) McCluskey February 15, 1944 in Hartford, CT.
    An avid runner, bicyclist, and hiking enthusiast, Jerry was a member of the Milford Road Runners Club and loved competing in marathons. He worked for 38 years at Sikorsky Aircraft in Stratford as a Magnetic Particle Inspector and embraced his 2007 retirement as an opportunity to fulfill his passion for serving others. Gerry volunteered regularly at St. Anne’s Soup Kitchen in Hamden, served as librarian in the Family History Center at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Woodbridge, accepted many other callings of service in the church and was especially grateful to be able to serve as an Ordinance Worker in the Boston LDS Temple.
    Jerry is also survived by his sisters, Linda Clare (Leroy) Icenhour of Chase City, VA, Sally Ann (Nicholas) Gravelle of Lexington Park, MD, and a brother, Terry A. McCluskey of Wasilla, AK. He is predeceased by his brother, James Harold McCluskey. His previous spouse, Darlene Batchelor, resides in Ocala, FL.
    Visitation and services took place at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 990 Racebrook Road, Woodbridge. Burial was in Milford Side Burying Grounds.
