Twenty-eight members of the Oakfield Senior Citizens met at the Oakfield snowmobile club for their first meeting of May. We had a special lunch of hot dogs and different salads. The hot dog chefs were Don Marley and Bob Locke. They did a good job with the dogs.
The 50-50 was won by Wanetta Townsend. The treasurers’ report was given by Dee Locke and a short business meeting was held. There was a talk about a spring trip. More on that later. We were led in the flag salute and the Lord’s prayer by Bob Locke.
May birthdays were Roger Ethier and Ursula Levesque. Our next meeting will be on May 15. Everyone is welcome to join us.
