    PRESQUE ISLE, ME & FARMINGTON, CT – Mildred Fillmore Gildert, 89, passed away Mon., April 29, 2013, at Touchpoint Health Center, Farmington, Conn. Mildred was born in Marshfield, MO, the daughter of Charles and Dora (Evans) Ward. Mildred was employed by Northeastland Hotel, Presque Isle, and for more than 30 years at New Britain General Hospital, New Britain, Conn. She was known for her kindness, generosity and smile by all her patients and coworkers.
    Mildred is survived by her husband, Arthur P. Gildert of Farmington, Conn.; and children, Patty and husband, Gerald LeBlanc, of Presque Isle, Nancy Haley and companion, Gene Tardiff, of Presque Isle, Marilyn Fields and companion, Jim Sheehan, of Hudson, Mass., and Ronald Fillmore of Ellsworth; siblings, Alene Thompson of Marshfield, Mo., Wilma Reza of Los Angeles, Betty Cobb of Springfield, Mo., and William Ward of Marshfield, Mo. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Tammy Leblanc and companion, Paul Dionne, Tracy Fox and husband, Rhett, Jennifer Bryce and husband, Tim, Kelly Fields and Shawn Fields; great-grandchildren, Jerica, Jaylee and Dakota Fox and Teagan Bryce; two sisters-in-law in Conneticut; and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
    In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by sister, Lola Mae Nunn; brother, Alvin Bud Ward; and twin great-grandsons, Jesse and Jermey Fox.
    A graveside service will be held at a later date at Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Middletown, Connecticut.
