     PRESQUE ISLE – Genevieve W. Boyne, 86, passed away Thursday, April 25, 2013, at a Caribou Hospital. Genevieve was born in Washburn on April 12, 1927, the oldest daughter of John and Nettie Kemard Wilcox Write. She was educated in the Washburn and Presque Isle School systems, graduating from Presque Isle High School in the class of 1948.
    She married Merle C. Boyne on March 16, 1949, and had one son, Alan. She loved her family dearly and was a hard worker all of her life.
    She is survived by her son, Alan; a grandson, Gary and his wife, Heather. She is also survived by her sisters, Melvina Daggett and her husband, Chet, and Winnie Brown.
    In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Merle; her siblings, Thomas Boyne, Marie Adams, Dea Anderson and Juanita Beaulieu.
    Visitation was held on Mon., April 29, 2013, from 12-1 p.m., at Duncan Graves Funeral Home, 30 Church Street, Presque Isle, where a funeral service was held at 1 p.m. Interment followed services at Fairmount Cemetery in Presque Isle.
