Whitehead named NorState CEO

MADAWASKA — On Tuesday, April 2, the NorState Federal Credit Union Board of Directors announced Executive Vice President Susan Whitehead was promoted to the position of chief executive officer.

Susan Whitehead BU-NorStateWhitehead-clr-cx-shar-18  will be replacing current CEO David Rossignol upon his retirement — slated for July 1.
Whitehead has over 30 years of financial industry experience, the last quarter century with NorState FCU. During her time at NorState, Whitehead has held various positions, with the most recent being the EVP and chief operations officer.
She is a native of northern Maine and returned to her home town of St. Agatha following college, where she received an associate’s degree in business management.
Whitehead worked five years in the banking industry prior to her 25 years of employment with NorState FCU. She attained the designation of certified credit union executive in June of 2012, following a three-year series of self-study college courses administered by the Credit Union National Association.
Whitehead’s professional experience and knowledge of the credit union philosophy and operations will greatly benefit credit union members for many years to come.
