    The Crouseville Community Playground Project is organized as a charitable entity to restore the children’s playground known as the Milford Libby Playground in Crouseville.

    PLAYGROUND DONATION — Herman Belanger, CPA, President and managing owner of Chester M. Kearney, CPAs, presents a check to Frederic Flewelling, Chairman of the Crouseville Community Playground Project.

 Herman Belanger, CPA, president and managing owner of Chester M. Kearney, CPAs, recently gave a generous donation to the Crouseville Community Playground Project. 
    The project is estimated to cost approximately $55,000 and about $10,000 has been raised to date.
    Donations to the project are tax-deductible and would be greatly appreciated.
    Anyone wishing to make a contribution, should call Patsy or Frederic Flewelling at 455-4076, Herman Belanger at 764-3171 or 455-4434, Dwayne Conley at 540-6776 or Brian Hews at 554-7736. Checks should be made payable to Crouseville Community Playground and mailed to: P.O. Box 456, Crouseville, ME 04738.

Book sale

    The Washburn Memorial Library will hold a book sale at the Civic Center on Friday, April 26, from noon to 4 p.m. and Saturday, April 27, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Proceeds will be used to purchase new books.

ATV Club meeting

    The next Wasburn ATV Club meeting will be held on Thursday, May 2, at the ATV clubhouse, located on Gould Street in the red barn.
    We will be grilling burgers and hotdogs and supper will be starting at 6 p.m. We ask that you please bring a small side dish or dessert.
    Meeting will follow at 6:30 p.m. We will be planning a trail clean-up day and other trail work activities and planning our first club ride.

    Wednesday, April 24 — 6:30-7:30 p.m., Piloxing at the Washburn High School.
    Thursday, April 25, 6-6:45 p.m., Indoor soccer at the elementary school for grades 2-3.
    Monday, April 29, 6:30-7:30 p.m. Piloxing at the Washburn High School; men’s basketball at the elementary school 7-9 p.m.
    Tuesday, April 30, 6:45-7:30 p.m. Indoor soccer at the elementary school for grades 4-5.
