LITTLETON – Frances A. Carson, 84, died April 9, 2013, at Houlton Regional Hospital. She was born March 17, 1929, in Dixmont, the daughter of Harold and Velma (Cullens) Sewell.
She is survived by her children, Cynthia (Douglas) Opdyke of Littleton and Jacksonville Fla, Deborah and Thomas Smart of Houlton, and Robert Carson of Presque Isle; seven grandchildren, Heather, Aaron, Robert, Kevin, Michael, Julie, Linda; two great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; a brother, Willis Sewell of Caribou and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was predeceased by her husband, Kendall; one daughter, Brenda Fitts; and two sisters, Betty Anderson and Lydia Shaw.
