    PRESQUE ISLE – Beverly (Bev) McAvaddy, 63, passed away Friday, April 19, 2013, at a Bangor hospital while surrounded by her family. She was born November 2, 1949, in Washburn, the daughter of the late Henry and Maxine (Creel) Myshrall.
    She was employed for seventeen years at McCain Foods in Transportation and for twenty three years at the University of Maine of Presque Isle as the administrative assistant for the College of Arts and Sciences.
    She leaves behind her husband, Jerry McAvaddy of Presque Isle; a son, David Tompkins and his wife, Julie and their children, a son, A.J. and daughter, Jessie all of Bridgeton; a daughter, Hillary McCrum and her husband, Greg and their two daughters, Gabrielle and Elizabeth all of Westfield.
    Friends may call 6-8 p.m., Thursday, April 25, 2013, at the Duncan-Graves Funeral Home, 30 Church St., where a memorial service will be conducted 10 a.m., Friday, with the Rev. Darren Bonville officiating. A private interment will take place at Fairmount Cemetery in Presque Isle. Arrangements in care of Duncan-Graves Funeral Home.
