CARIBOU – Camille E. Albert, 79, died April 10, 2013, at a Brewer health care facility. He was born July 16, 1933, in St. David, ME, the youngest child of the late Mathias and Alvine (Pelletier) Albert.
After graduating from Ricker College, he served in the Navy as a dental assistant. Camille was District Manager with Equitable Life Insurance Company for several years. He was then owner of World Wide Travel Agency in Caribou for 35 years. He also served as a bail bondsman until two years ago. Camille was well-liked and respected by those who knew him and would go out of his way to help others. He was a devoted Boston Celtics fan.
He is survived by his two daughters, Lynn Albert of Woburn, MA, Lisa Albert of Bangor, ME, and beloved granddaughter, Alexandria; his sisters, Yvette Martin and her husband, Armand, of Madawaska, Alice Cormier and her husband, Robert, of Presque Isle; his brothers, Normand of Clearwater, FL and Lucien of Norwalk, CA; sister-in-law, Eglantine Albert of Exeter, NH, and brother-in-law, Richard Bisson of Edmunston, NB, and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sisters, Germaine Branscombe and Loretta Bisson and brother, Leo Paul Albert.
Friends called at the Mockler Funeral Home 24 Reservoir Street, Caribou, 1:00 p.m. Saturday, April 13, 2013, until time of services. Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m. from the chapel of the funeral home with Fr. Emile Dube, officiating.
