PRESQUE ISLE — A non-denominational organization is inviting the public to an open prayer event Monday night.
“Men of Prayer, a Christian prayer fellowship here in Presque Isle, will host our third annual Prayer Night on April 15 at the Presque Isle Middle School auditorium at 6:30 p.m.,” said Paul Saija, one of the organizers.
Saija said several houses of worship in the region plan to take part.
“Leaders from several Presque Isle churches will be participating,” he said.
The purpose of the Prayer Night is to lift up Presque Isle in prayer.
“We will be lifting up our civic organizations and our local government, our schools and colleges, the needs of our businesses and residents, and much more,” Saija said.
“We invite you, your family and friends as we lift up the prosperity and well-being of our city in prayer to God,” noted Saija.
This is a completely free event and no offering will be taken.
“There will be a reception in the middle school cafeteria after the prayer meeting. All are invited to attend,” Saija said.
“Join us as we continue to ask for God’s blessings on our city. All are welcome,” said Saija.
