The final community Lenten service was held March 20 at the United Methodist Church with the Rev David Hutchinson officiating. These services were sponsored by the Southern Aroostook Ministerial Association.
Two more community services are scheduled — the Good Friday Service March 29 at noon at the Salvation Army and the Easter Sunrise Service March 31 at 6:30 a.m. on the porch of St. Mary’s Catholic Church. A free community breakfast will follow at the Unitarian Church on 61 Military St.
