It was just another fun night of skiing for Bryant, Logan, Jimmy and Mitchell. They were on their way to the top of the mountain when the chairlift stopped. At first they thought it was somebody who was getting on at the bottom and they had lost their ski. They sat there for about five minutes until Mitchell got a little scared and hollered down to the bottom to see what happened by nobody answered.
Then the lights shut off one by one all the way down the mountain. Then after that happened we were all a little scared. This time they all yelled down to the bottom to see if they could hear us now but still, nobody answered.
We sat there for about another half hour until we got really cold. So Logan said, “Maybe we can climb down the lift support pole.” As they were climbing down the pole Bryant noticed some red eyes at the top of the mountain watching them. He quietly said that they should run to the woods and hide until it is gone. So they ran to the woods and hid until the eyes were gone.
The four kids didn’t want to walk down in the dark and cold so they decided to walk up to the shack where the person who runs the chairlift sits. Wyatt, the guy who runs it is really good friends with Bryant. Instead of walking all the way up they just thought that he could hear them up in the shack, but nobody answered. So they just had to walk up.
When they got up there the door was locked for some reason. So Logan knocked on the door. The second that he knocked on the door something came flying out of the now broken window. When it was gone we tried to follow where it went and the only thing they could see was blood on the ground dripping from the mouth of the monster. That made them nervous so they ran back to the shack and looked through the window.
At that moment they were terrified. On the floor of the shack was Wyatt and he was still half alive and able to talk. The kids tried as hard as they could to get to him but they couldn’t. They asked him if he could still talk to them and he could. He said, “Quick! Get out of here and don’t come back.” The four kids asked him why but by the time they had finished talking he was dead.
“Now what do we do?” said Bryant in a sad voice. “Well I guess we could head to the cabin now,” said Mitchell. “Ya, that sounds good, let’s go,” said Logan. So they started walking to the cabin. As they were walking across the top of the ski trail, Bryant was looking down the mountain and he saw the red eyes again just sitting there watching them walk across the mountain. Then the eyes kept getting closer and closer. “RUN!” said Bryant so everybody ran and the only one who knew why they were running was Bryant. “Why are we running!” said Mitchell.
“It’s watching us! said Bryant.
“What’s watching us,” yelled Logan.
“Ahhhhhhhh” said Jimmy as got lifted off the ground into the air and he was gone.
“Ahhhhhhhh,” screamed everybody.
