“Hey, Andre, hurry up. We’re almost to the samurai temple,” said Ace. “It’s locked.” “Let me see,” said Ax. “I can cast aura flex.” Then he walked through the door. There was a clang and the door opened. “Since when and how can you do that,” said Lia. “It’s a curse thing,” said Ax.
“Usually you would just use your battle ax and try to break the hinges or use your root palm curse,” said Josh. “Who cares now. They won’t see us coming,” said Ace. Then they were surrounded by samurai. Or not.
“Duck,” said Andre. Ace, Ax, Josh and Lia ducked. Sleep gem spell and the samurai fell to the ground. “I’m still not used to having a magic man on the team,” said Ace. “Let’s go get the leader in the great hall,” said Ax. “How did you know that,” said Andre. “Just a guess,” said Ax.
The team of warriors went to the hall and to Ax who wasn’t surprised, but the others are. The samurai leader was there. “I don’t know how you knew that but let’s burn him up.” The samurai leader started running to the door, but Ace threw a fireball at him too fast and that was his end. “Great job, Ace. Can I see the black sword gem,” said Ax. “Sue,” said Ace. “Wait, Ax is a traitor,” said Andre. “WHAT!” “That’s stupid,” said Ace. “Ya,” said Josh.
“I may not have trusted him in the past, but he would never betray us, right, Ax?” said Lia. Ax didn’t respond. “Right,” she repeated. “I never,” said Ax. “That’s the spirit, Ax,” said Ace. “I never thought you’d figure it out,” said Ax. Ax kneeled on his hands and knees. “Well, I knew you had respect but not that much,” said Lia.
Suddenly roots sprouted out of the ground acting like chains, aiming at Lia. “Run!” Lia said. They ran and ran from the roots. It got Josh. “But,” said Ace. “Let’s go. We can’t do anything to stop him,” Andre said. They ran about five miles, they rested for five minutes, and the roots got Ace’s legs.
“Ace, he’s after the diamond, throw it to me,” said Andre. Then Ace threw it to him. Suddenly the roots disappeared and Josh was a few feet away and Lia was just a few yards away. Ax was unconscious.
“What just happened,” said Ace. “Ha, ha, ha, ha, you are all so stupid,” said Andre. “It was all an illusion that I created.” “Why did you do that?” said Josh. “And how did you get Ax to go along with it?” said Lia.
“I put him under one of my spells so he would do anything I even think. And for that walk through walls thing, another spell all to break my master’s chains. Oh, yeah, thanks for the jewel, Ace. Goodbye.” Said Andre.
“No,” said Ace. And Andre disappeared.
