READY FOR LENT — Speakers for this year’s Community Lenten Services are, front row from left, the Rev. Patrice Goodwin, the Rev Dale Holden and Major Irma Pearl of the Salvation Army; and back, the Rev. Dave Hutchinson, the Rev. Al Burleigh and the Rev. Art Meyers. This year’s offering will support the Salvation Army’s Fuel and Assistance Program, which has an immediate and critical need for funding to help those in the community. The first service will be offered Wednesday (tonight) at St. Mary’s Church of the Visitation, with the Rev. Goodwin preaching. A time of fellowship and food will follow. All are welcome.
