For all things bridal, the 2013 Northern Maine Bridal Expo will be the place to find all the answers to any question you might have about future wedding plans.
The event will take place again this year at The Crow’s Nest Restaurant & Event Center in Presque Isle on Saturday, Feb. 16, from 10 a.m.-3 p.m.
“This is your one-stop shopping event for all things bridal in Aroostook County,” said Jean Brawn, administrator of the Northern Maine Bridal Expo’s Facebook page.
Brawn explained that this is the perfect opportunity to “meet a wide variety of vendors and get all your planning done in one day.”
This year’s exhibitors include representatives from various industries, including: musical entertainment, jewelry, cookware, food and bakery, florists, nail and hair salons, wedding planning, photography, gifts, printing/graphic designs, bridal fashions and seamstress, limo service and more.
“The first 50 brides will receive a gift bag full of valuable coupons and free items,” noted Brawn, owner of Oasis Salon in Presque Isle.
This year’s event will showcase the latest in wedding gowns and tuxedoes, under the direction of Holly Burtchell, a certified wedding planner.
“The Bridal Expo is an awesome place to see the traditional and the unique of what the County has to offer those planning a wedding,” wrote Rowena Forbes, owner of Designed by Row of Castle Hill, on the Expo’s website.
Steve Boddy, owner of KC & Company DJ Services of Washburn, also commented on his experience at a past show.
“This is a great event for both brides-to-be and vendors. For brides, what better place than here to see and talk to all the wedding professionals in The County. And vendors, if you’re thinking about signing on and you have quality products and services, you will get a big increase in business,” said Boddy, adding, “I had signed contracts before I closed up shop at the last Expo I attended.”
