St. Patrick’s Bazaar returns March 16

    The Rev. David Raymond, pastor at St. Mary of the Visitation Church in Houlton, has announced the date for the annual St. Patrick’s Bazaar to be Saturday, March 16 at the parish center and St. Anthony’s Hall.
    Many plans are being made for the roast turkey and corned beef and cabbage supper. Margaret Casey is the general chef and promises to be flavorful and delicious as ever. The time for the supper is 5 to 6:30 p.m. on Saturday.

    Doors open at 3 a.m. for the popular Cake Walk. All kinds of cake, black, white, strawberry, chocolate, peanut butter in various sizes will be on display for the walk. Many kids as well as adults participate in this fun time.
    Time will be allotted to buy your raffle tickets. The big item this year is a Ridgeway hand crafted floor clock donated by Furniture and Floors North. The beautiful clock can be seen at Main Street Fitness, so go and take a peek.
    One boys and one girls bicycle is also available and three months of fitness membership at Main Street Fitness is up for raffle. Entertainment by local artists is slated from 6:30 to 8 a.m.
    All kinds of gift certificates and more items will be available so mark this on your calendar. Plan on a day of fun at St. Mary’s. Bring the children and enjoy the day.
