NORTH BERWICK, ME – Dorothy Chandler Mulloy, 87, widow of William “Bill” Mulloy, died Thursday, January 17, 2013, at Varney Crossing Nursing Care Center, North Berwick. She was born January 24, 1925, in Castle Hill, the daughter of Alfred and Dorcas (Ellis) Chandler.
After Attending Presque Isle High School, she was employed as a welder at Portsmouth Naval Shipyard during WWII. Dorothy graduated beautician school in Augusta. She retired in 1987 from Sprague Electric, Sanford. She enjoyed playing bridge, bowling, traveling, eating out and many six-mile Volksmarches.
Surviving are: two sons, Roger Mulloy of Rye, NH, and Gerald Mulloy of North Berwick; daughter, Donna Osborne of Buxton, ME; a twin sister, Doris Bohovich of Presque Isle; a half sister, Margaret Russell of North Conway, NH; three brothers: Vernon Chandler of Shreveport, LA, Vincent Chandler of Englewood, FL, and Vinal Chandler of Durham, NH; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
